The small monastery Kundrak Ling is located in South Sikkim and is home to about 30 monks, of which about 20 are in school age between 7 – 16 years.
Thanks to the private initiative of the Friends of Usha Aksoylu, Benno Wrobel and the friendly support of the Yungdrung Bön Foundation, the monastery has been funded by private funds for more than 14 years.
The monastery provides a home for children from Tibet, Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan, enabling them to enjoy a comprehensive secular and spiritual education.
The monastery does not belong to any large organization and receives no funds from the government.
The children are orphans or come from poor backgrounds. The monastery allows you to care and education.
With the help of the donors, the children get to eat and drink and accommodation. They also receive medical care.
We also support concrete construction and maintenance activities and have set up a fund for special projects (such as maintenance of the building).
All donations directly and in full benefit the project. We are there every year and report on the concrete results and developments.
